BA Better World
We know that flying has a significant impact on the planet, and achieving net zero by 2050 or sooner requires long-term transformation as well as bold, urgent action today.
That’s why our BA Better World sustainability programme is our most important journey yet, and we’re innovating to drive continual improvement in our environmental, social and governance business performance.
BA Better World builds on our long track record of attention to sustainability in the world of aviation, focusing on where we believe we can make the biggest impact for our business, our customers and for society – People, Planet and Responsible Business.
Sustainability
CallBA is serious in its commitment to responsible business practices. Key to ensuring this are our practices in diversity, communication and collaboration, recruitment, inclusiveness, and well-being.
Values
We adhere to the values of British Airways, and you can read about them here.
They form the foundation of CallBA, underpinning our work, and the way we treat each other, our partners and our customers.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion are central to the British Airways culture, and the same is true at CallBA.
We are committed to creating an environment where our colleagues feel valued, respected and able to thrive.
Community and charity support
We support local charities as part of our corporate social responsibility.
CallBA partners with the Lotus Petal Foundation, a non-profit organisation founded in November 2011. We engage with the Foundation to drive initiatives in education, healthcare, and nutrition to create equal opportunities for children in urban and semi-urban areas. The partnership gives our colleagues the opportunity to volunteer.
We proudly support several hands-on initiatives with the Foundation.
During the winter months we organise a warm clothes drive and every October we participate in Daan Utsav, India’s biggest festival of giving.
We regularly invite children from the Lotus Petal Foundation to our office, hosting them for lunch, games and fun activities.
Our two new offices were selected keeping sustainability in mind and both buildings are certified as green.
Gurgaon, AIPL Business Club
The CallBA workspace incorporates a range of sustainable features designed to support efficient, forward-thinking operations. The building holds both GRIHA 4 Star and LEED Gold certifications, alongside on-site renewable energy sources and water-efficient plumbing systems.
Rainwater harvesting and organic waste management are embedded into the design, with locally sourced, low-emission, certified green materials used throughout — all contributing to a more sustainable future.
Noida, Stellar Okas 1425
Our state-of-the-art office, opened in 2024, has been designed with sustainability and efficiency at its core. The building is LEED Platinum certified and includes a Fresh Air Recovery Unit and advanced air filtration systems across all office spaces.
Energy conservation is supported through solar-powered LED lighting, an insulated roof, and a zero-discharge system. The design also maximises natural light through a lower window-to-wall ratio, creating a bright and energy-efficient workspace.
